AP Course Information and Summer Assignments
Taking and passing exams associated with AP classes has the potential for earning college credit. When this happens, students save both time and money since it is one less class they need to take in college.

Whenever a student wants to take an AP class, they are required to read and sign a contract showing that they understand the commitment they are agreeing to make in taking one or more AP classes. Parent signatures are also required on this contract. Please access the contract by clicking on the link below. These can be returned to the counseling office in person or emailed to [email protected]
AP Summer Assignments
This information is still being updated for the coming year, so please check back if you don't see your class listed under either category.
The following AP courses will NOT have summer assignments for the 2022/2023 school year:
- AP Calculus
- AP Computer Science
- AP Human Geography
- AP Literature and Composition
- AP Music Theory. However, students will need to go through the online lessons and exercises on www.musictheory.net
- AP Physics
- AP Psychology
- AP Spanish IV (this is a change from a previous post, but since the assignment was not provided earlier, it will no longer be required)
- AP Spanish V
