SHORT TERM INDEPENDENT STUDY

If a parent or guardian knows their student will be absent for three (3) or more consecutive school days, they must contact the Independent Study Team to request an Independent Study Contract. Once the contract is completed, the absences will be recorded as excused. Independent Study Contracts are limited to 15 days per student per school year. To allow teachers sufficient time to prepare assignments, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required.
