Independent Study

SHORT TERM INDEPENDENT STUDY

If a parent/guardian knows their student will miss 3 or more consecutive school days, the parent/guardian needs to contact the Attendance office to request an Independent Study Contract.  If the contract is completed, the absences will then be excused.  Independent Study Contracts are limited to 14 days per student per school year. 3 to 5 days notice is preferred for teachers to get work assignments together.
