Counseling Staff
The Serrano High School Counseling staff, including our secretary, our guidance technicians, and our counselors, is dedicated to helping our students and their families with all of their academic and personal needs. Please be sure to contact us when you have a question or concern or are in need of assistance with something.
We are available by appointment, email, phone, and walk-in visits before and after school and during lunch. Additionally, students are welcome to come to the office before and after school or during their lunch to request to see their guidance technician or counselor. We suggest that parents/guardians call the office to set up an appointment to ensure that we will be able to meet with you when it is convenient for you. It is our goal and priority to see each person as quickly as possible, and we strive to return all phone calls and emails within 24 hours on school days.
COUNSELORS
Counselors work with students to address personal and social needs, college and career planning, and academic success. Students can see a counselor on a walk-in basis whenever there is a personal emergency by coming to the office. For non-emergency meeting requests, appointments can be requested by calling the office or by emailing the counselors at the noted emails. Students may also fill out a gold counseling appointment request form with our counseling secretary, Miss Jackie.

Guidance Technicians
Guidance Technicians (GTs) work with students and parents to help with scheduling classes, monitoring progress toward graduation, and registering for concurrent online classes and summer school.
GTs are available for students on a walk-in basis, but if a GT is not available at that time, the student will be called in as soon as possible.
