Discuss work permits and come up with 5 - 15 questions that we think is important that students know before receiving their work permits, i.e.


1.  How many hours can a 16-17 year old Serrano student work on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday?      12 hours ( 4 hours per day that follows a school day).
2.  How many hours can a 16-17 year old Serrano student work on a Monday, Wednesday & Saturday? _16  hours     ( Monday and Wednesday are 4 hours each because they follow a school day and Saturday is 8 hours because it does NOT follow a school day.)

We can make them in to multiple choice questions and have them pick the correct answer, then maybe have them write out why the answer they choose is correct.....Please bring some ideas of questions you think a student should know before they receive a work permit.
